On day one, explore the Eli Cohen National Park, named after the heroic Israeli spy, and follow his undercover crossing trail, before ascending to Oz 77 Memorial for a birdseye view of one of the decisive battles during the Yom Kippur War. Then, we’ll sweeten the mood with wine tasting at the Golan’s famous wineries, followed by a panoramic view of the Sea of Galilee from the fortress Ka’alat Nimrod, before enjoying a short break at the Banias, and finishing up with a traditional Druze meal.
After an overnight at a lodge (extra cost) or open camp at the Golan or Sea of Galilee, start with a light breakfast at the Ya’ar Birya ranch, while taking in the breathtaking Galilee landscape and magical story of Kabala ancestors. Then, get an up close and personal view of ancient agriculture, plus an authentic Galilee feast, followed by offroading at Dishon Wadi on the Israel National Trail. Last but not least, enjoy Rosh Pina and the old settlement from the early days of the Jewish state at daybreak.
